Here are some of my pictures! I do hope you like them.
Every day between 50 and 150 people visit my site but nearly everybody heads for the library and practically nobody visits my galleries.
If you DO visit my galleries then please leave a message. It would be so nice to have some response to my lifetime’ s work!

I went to the Slade School of Fine Art in London for four years from the age of 18 to 22. I painted in my early years and then began to write and illustrate my own stories and to illustrate and later to write materials for teaching French and then English. I wrote and illustrated stories for West German TV, the BBC and Thames TV. I wrote and illustrated books for language teaching published by Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Longman Pearson, Helbling Languages, and others.
I have nearly always illustrated texts which I have written and that has meant that I have been able to try out all kinds of different styles and media according to the spirit and needs of the texts. This has been great for me because it has allowed me to explore fresh ways of doing things.
