You have such artistic drawings. I have your 1000 Pictures book. Sometimes I use it to learn how to make simple but beautiful drawings. And when I make use of them in my classes, my children think that I’m a great artist. If they could see yours, what would they say? :))) I think they would fall in love…
thank you for your kind words…
Andrew
Ozlem! Please show the children my website if you can if you think they would like it! I am very happy to hear such lovely things! Andrew
Dear Andrew,
I’ve just found your site surfing on the Internet and I can’t believe it!. For me this is a wonderful Christmas present, thank you very much for sharing your work.
I’ve read most of your books and I LOVE them I always recommend them to my students (now I am a teacher trainer). I particularly like 1000 Pictures for Teachers to Copy and I use it with my students to teach them how to draw on the blackboard. I will show them your beautiful illustrations and your paintings on wood and stones, they will enjoy them as much as I did.
Happy New Year!
Susana What a wonderful present for me to start off the new year! Thank you so much for telling me these lovely things. How did you know that I was feeling a ‘bit down’ rather than full of umph? Actually it is more than ‘a bit’ but rather a lot down. My very dear dog has just died and is even now lying in her grave…I cannot bring myself to cover her with earth yet. So you can see how lovely your words are in my ears. Andrew
Dear Andrew,
I’m really sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I used to have dogs and I know how much one loves them…
I had the opportunity of listening to you in a TESOL Congress in Madrid many years ago. You talked about writing stories with children and it was an amazing lecture.
I hope you feel better today…
