Anabelle! I am so moved by your email! Thank you for telling me. The whole point of my blog is to give and for no other reason than the pleasure of giving in this world which contains so much selfish grabbing. So when what I have offered proves to be of some value to someone then I am delighted! A very healthy, happy and fulfilling new year to you! And may your storytelling skills grow...the listener is more important than the story. Please write to me about your work or indeed anything whenever you feel inclined to do so. Warm wishes Andrew

Dear Andrew,

I found your article at the International Storytelling Network, which led me here, to your blog.
Firstly I'd like to thank you for sharing the experience in 'Preparing for storytelling'. It is not the kind of experience that successfull storytellers usually share.
I'm an overthinker when I'm preparing a storytelling event, and something similar to what you described has happened to me. So thanks again for your generosity in giving us a glimpse of your process. I think it will help me when I'm putting together new storytelling events (and I loved your flowchart system: it's something that I'll start using).

Best regards from Argentina (and I hope I didn't make to many spelling mistakes: English is not my first language).
